deadly jellyfish - glows in the dark
there are so many different types of jellyfish, we had to add another to our collection
we also decided to print it with glow-in-the-dark ink!
jellyfish
a group of jellyfish is called a smack or bloom
more people are killed by jellyfish each year than by sharks
quantity of venom found in "box" jellyfish is capable of killing 60 people
maybe that is what inspired box to come up with this design!!

no brainer right?? the kracken glows!
our version of moby dick (he swims with a posse of narwahls - unicorns of the sea!!)

we decided to print this after heading to the coast for some wood pieces. there was an entire pod of whales making the trek north... it was absolutely majestic.

so i got in these new color tights.. have been toying around ideal in my head most of them involving polka dot patterns... also thought henna...but today the book store called ot let me know the new High Fructose was in and ****BAM**** there is an article on yayoi-kusama!
when we studied her in east asian art history I FELL in love
when she re appeared I know know where my inspiration is coming directly from!!!

Andy Goldswrothy
he made we watxh one of his vide, to which i thought andy goldsworthy was MAD! I mean to spend an entire day creating something to just get washed away... CRAZY! But then i came to realize its brilliance :) I even got to see one of his pieces at the De Young Musuem in SF, i find his work so amazingly calming!
We just got in a TON of new clothing: lots of great new colors, styles. garment (tights! yay!). Time for the library & video of andy's to help inspire some of the latest garment --- start exploring color theories that i love oh so much :) which was actually the basis of my thesis work in college.

along with 120 lbs of new garmets this arrived.... i feel lots of fun color combos & such happening in our near future!!!!
